The Southern California Disaster Relief Fund will support our low-income neighbors whose lives and livelihoods are affected by the current wildfires in Southern California.Created by United Way of Greater Los Angeles, in partnership with United Way of Ventura County, the fund primarily provides longer-term support to help low-income individuals and families rebuild their lives. Most recently, over 110,000 acres in Los Angeles and Ventura counties have been devastated by wildfires, known as the Hill and Woolsey Fires. Many communities are being impacted, creating immediate response and long-term recovery needs for many residents. For those who are already struggling to make ends meet, this disaster can push them into poverty or homelessness.United Way of Greater Los Angeles, in partnership with United Way of Ventura County, has created the Southern California Disaster Relief Fund to help low- income individuals and families affected by the Hill and Woolsey Fires.

Please support our economically vulnerable neighbors by making a donation today to assist with their recovery. You may also text "2018fires" to 41444 or visit https://app.mobilecause.com/f/23ef/n?vid=4n8t to donate to Ventura County only.

United Way of Greater Los Angeles looks to the American Red Cross® to assist with immediate needs of impacted individuals and families. A percentage of the Fund will support the American Red Cross® immediate response efforts.
